MOUKO

Inspired by the Yipunu language, 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗸𝟬 comes from Moutouki which means "many things". Moutouki is a huge market located in Mont-Bouët, Gabon, a large open-air thrift store where you can find everything. 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗸𝟬 is the first edition of a multidisciplinary meeting of artistic and performative practices in which music, clothing, editing, etc. intertwine with tattooing… well… rather scratch! The often-criticized scratcher is the one "who buys a low cost machine on eBay and offers cheap designs, terrible quality at their house or yours." (Rock'in'radio, Rouen) Today the scratcher identifies more himself as an artist than as a tattoo artist. His practice is multi- form, he uses the skin as a support in the same way as the canvas, the computer, the edition, the sewing, etc. Voiture 14 welcomes Le Syndicat du scratch, The Cringe as fuck and their guests on May 5, 6 and 7 2022, allowing our cybercultures, developed on platforms like Instagram and Soundcloud, to manifest themselves in reality.
